About Us

Terri Phillips, founder Natural Healing Sanctuary, is a professional , Nationally Board Certified Neuromuscular and Massage Therapist, a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor and Ordained Minister with more than 20 years of experience.

I was introduced to herbs and supplements, "the natural path", as a child. My parents and grandparents used what was naturally available at the time to handle whatever ailment presented itself.

I was reintroduced to herbal supplements in 1992 when my children and I seemed to be constantly sick. We were sensitive to many of the drugs we received for treatment and experienced so many side effects that I turned to chiropractic care for all of us. Our health improved and my interest in natural healing grew.

In 1997, I decided to go to massage school and earned my National Certification. I continued working with and learning from many other natural healthcare practitioners and continued my own research with herb supplements.

In 2001, I again decided to return to school and in 2004 I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Health and before the end of 2006 earned my Naturopathic Doctor degree. All along, I have been working with family, friends and massage clients helping them to find a better and more natural path to health. I believe I have been divinely guided to take each step along this journey including offering a website where those that visit fill find a better and more natural path to live their lives.

In the spring of 2008, I felt a growing need and calling an became ordained as a minister.
